History

It was designed by Charles Klauder and Louis A. Simon, in the Egyptian Revival in 1939.

On April 28, 1988, it was renamed the "Wilbur J. Cohen Federal Building." [3] On July 06, 2007, the Social Security Administration Building was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

It houses the Voice of America.
